whats a gud diet 2 go on? heres the deal Im 20 i weight about 365 this is the biggest i ever weight in my life?

n when i put in effort i can easily lose weight ive done it b4 n i need 2 do it again.Im 5 11 n my BMI says i should weigh like 180 but i think thats way 2 skinny cuz im very brod n can hold my weight really well so i wanna get down 2 atleast 220. the methods ive used be was 2 just simply watch what i was eating n how much i ate that worked pretty decent. I ate stuff like baked chicken,carnation instant breakfast,lean pockets,etc.i also worked out n went walking 3miles everynite n i lost some pretty good weight. but now i wanna try a proven diet that will help me lose weight even better. so whats a great diet? southbeach? plz dont answer atkins diet i kno u can lose 40lbs in like 2weeks but i heard it runs u in the ground n raises choleseral like crazy. the person with the best answers wins would appreciate links as well.also what this new Full Bar diet is it any gud n also hydroxycut i heard this sfuff really works all answers are appreciated

A diet is not the answer. What you want is a program that changes your eating and exercise habits. Although it's called a diet, the Fat Smash Diet is designed to change your eating habits. You should try to avoid processed foods like Lean Pockets and and instant breakfast because they are usually high in sodium or other things not good for you.Realize that a reasonable weight loss program takes off 2-3 pounds a week, maybe more at your size. And you must exercise. I recommend the Silver Foxes video by Richard Simmons. It's meant for older people, but it's also good for people who have exercised much. It's not so fast that you can't follow what's going on and Richard actually has clothes on.

Don't use instant weight loss stuff like hydroxycut or quick weight loss programs because once you go off of them, you start gaining again.

You can probably get the book and video from the library. I've provided links so you can see what I'm talking about.

Having much trouble managing weight!?

Joined the Y last year, and love it still! I work out on an eliptical machine about 3 x a week, I do a zumba aerobic class 1 or 2 times a week.

I gained about 10 lbs from summer to christmas and then for some reason, thought "im throwing out my scale" and have been in denial of weighing myself since then.

WELL got on the scale today (bought a new one) and have gained an additional 8.
so, 18 lbs up and am depressed about it.

I am stuck in the diet world of trying atkins, ww, stop when your full........UGH i eat evrything when upset or sad and am in marraige therapy.

I recently made an appt for myself to see a therapist. would it be stupid to ask her for help with my weight? or am i off key. I am thinking that my emotions are making me gain.

whats the best diet out there? I need to lose! I hate myself today

Well, if your emotions are causing you to gain, I don't think any diet will help you lose.

Since you'll start the diet, but then cheat because your still depressed.

I suggest taking care of that first if you can.

Then I would say try the Atkins...if you can manage it. I've used the Atkins and lost over 20lbs in 2 months. But its not a diet you do for a short time and then go back to normal habits, your supposed to stay on it for life. (it does add carbs back to your diet over time).

Sooo its really up to you, and how confident you feel about sticking to a diet and exercise.
